Experience Venice as it once was. This award-winning Eco Tour brings you trough rural landscapes surrounding the city and connects you with the local communities nd their traditions. 

During this immersive 6 hour day trip, you'll visit the lagoon southeast islands and local fishing and organic farming communities. You'll get the opportunity to spend the day with the local families and learn about their (food) culture. The organic farm in the salt marsh area of Chioggia will be visited by boat. There you’ll get to taste the best produces the region has to offer and explore the places of their origins. Let the families tell the story about the food production first hand and find out how they combine the two leading activities of the territory of Chioggia — agriculture and fishing.

During the day, you'll enjoy a delicious seafood lunch, with a cooking demonstration. You'll get the opportunity to taste products that are almost extinct such as salt marsh honey and seasonal delicacies from both the nearby sea and the local land.

• 9:30 am Meet your boat driver at Riva San Biagio close to San Mark’s Square by the Museo Storico Navale di Venezia
• 10:00 am Pass the Lido, Poveglia the haunted island, Malamocco and Pellestrina fishing village
• 11:00 am Arrive at the south lagoon in the salt marsh area with clam’s farms and sea birds
• 11:30 am Stop at the organic farm and meet the farmers
• 11:40 am Visit the farm and sip some prosecco while you taste the seasonal produces
• 1:00 pm Enjoy a 4-course seafood lunch
• 2:30 pm Return to Venice
• 3:30 pm Arrival in Venice/end of the tour
