Gäste berichten, dass das Erlebnis in einem atemberaubenden Riad stattfindet, dessen Atmosphäre elegant und einladend zugleich ist. Die Teilnehmer beginnen mit einer kurzen Arabisch-Einführung, bevor sie gemeinsam auf einem lebhaften Markt frische Zutaten einkaufen. Der Gastgeber wird für sein fundiertes Wissen, seine Geduld und seine sympathische Art gelobt, mit der er die Gäste Schritt für Schritt durch die Zubereitung von acht authentischen marokkanischen Gerichten führt. Der Kurs ist sehr interaktiv gestaltet, da alle Teilnehmer selbst kochen und kein Aufräumen anfällt.

Set in a lovingly restored riad in the heart of the Marrakech Medina, a variety of classes, Tasting Menu dinners, gourmet picnic days and culinary holidays are the life blood, whether it be for day foodies or those choosing to stay. It is certainly a destination “All About the Food” and a concept, like no other in Morocco!

The 8 dish lunch menu, is chosen at the beginning of the class. We offer suggestions as a starting point once we learn the preferred cooking style of the class, be it dinner parties, family cooking, BBQ or cooking for one!
Programm
- 8:50 am: Beginning of the class with a discussion over coffee as to the menu and the shopping list.
- 9:45 am: It’s off to the market, shopping in your new language.
- 10:45 am: you are standing at the prep table beginning with the chopping of the herbs and the making of the tea.
- 1:30 pm: Lunch
- 2:30 pm: The class winds up around now with the choosing of the any spices to buy to take home
Treffpunkt
The cooking school is anything from a minute to 25 minutes walk from where you will be staying (if not at the House of Fusion) if inside the medina. Guests either take a cab or book our driver to come and then walk home or simply walk both ways.
The cooking school is inside the medina, a few minutes walk from the drop off point, should you wish to book our driver, at an extra charge of 120 dirhams, payable to the driver.
