What to Expect

When it comes to Vietnamese cuisines, it’s the freshness that all matters. Rose Kitchen Hanoi – a place where
you can explore the sight, smell, taste, and tales of Vietnamese dishes, will of course expose you to this
freshness to the greatest extent.

Here we offer the quintessential recipes in Vietnamese cuisine through a very local lens. Nộm Hoa Chuối
(Banana flower salad), Phở (Vietnamese Traditional noodle soup), Bún Chả (BBQ pork with rice noodle and
dipping sauce), Nem Rán (Fried spring rolls),… anything to know about the foods about our country, we have
them all.

Immerse yourself in the freshness of all the herbs, spices, and meat. Not a professional cooking school, but
Rose Kitchen is an extension of this wonderful food culture, offering Vietnam’s favorite dishes in comfortable
and elegant surroundings. As a cultural hub, you will do cooking our iconic recipes and enjoy them together
like an authentic Vietnamese family usually does while listening to our cultural stories.

Menu

Flexible menu finalized by our Cooking Instructor: 

Complimentary Drink: Free and unlimited local wine tasting, herbal tea, coffee, mineral water, our herbal welcome drink.

1. Nộm Hoa Chuối/Banana Flower Salad: A special appetizer from fresh Banana flowers, vegetables, and herbs.

2. Bún Chả/ Obama Noodles - BBQ (Pork) with Dipping Sauce: Sweet and sour dipping sauce with flavorsome marinated pork, Chef Anthony Bourdain and the Former President of the USA - Mr. Barack Obama enjoyed them!

3. Nem/ Vietnamese Fried Spring-rolls: Nem and Bún Chả will be the best combination for you to feel the sound of crispy rolls and taste the full flavor of fresh meat or tofu, mushrooms, vegetables dipped in sweet and sour sauce.

4. Cafe Trứng/ Egg Coffee (or Chocolate): Egg yolks, condensed milk, honey - altogether in a creamy custard floating on Vietnamese black coffee/ chocolate. (or another dessert for vegan)

This is our best iconic 4-dish menu that almost everybody would like to try in Hanoi.

(Don’t worry if you prefer a vegetarian/vegan meal, veggie versions are available!)

Schedule

Morning Session 

• 9:00 am: Meet up at Hanoi Opera House, pick up will be arranged from there. The number of participants is up to 10/ class.
• 9:20 am: Join a local market tour where we'll shop for the ingredients as you will learn about Vietnamese cuisines
• 10:00 am: Transfer to our cooking class venue and enjoy the welcome drink
• 10:20 am: Make 4 recipes together like an authentic Vietnamese family and listen to our cultural stories
• 1:00 pm: Enjoy your cooking creations with unlimited mineral water, welcome drink, herbal tea, local wine
• 1:30 - 2:00 pm: Cooking Class ends and get dropped off at your hotel (in the Old Quarter)

Afternoon Session

• 3:00-3:15 pm: Meet up at Hanoi Opera House, pick up will be arranged from there. The number of participants is up to 10/ class
• 3:20 pm: Join a local market tour where we'll shop for the ingredients as you will learn about Vietnamese cuisines
• 3:50 pm: Transfer to our cooking class venue and enjoy the welcome drink
• 4:20 pm: Make 4 recipes together like an authentic Vietnamese family and listen to our cultural stories
• 6:00 pm: Enjoy your own cooking creations with unlimited mineral water,  herbal tea, local wine
• 7:30 - 8:00pm: Cooking Class ends and get dropped off at your hotel (in the Old Quarter)
