Traditional Danish Bread Baking Class

What to Expect

Start your day in Copenhagen in the best possible way by learning the essential skills to create: Traditional Danish Rye Bread, Perfect Sourdough Buns and some Delicious Danish Pastries.

During our hands-on Danish baking class, thanks to the expert guidance of our chefs and kitchen staff, you will learn the techniques for mixing, kneading, proving and shaping the different types of dough. By the end, you will have new skills and you'll master all the methods for creating perfect bread and pastries so you can recreate a taste of Denmark at home. We'll also provide you the printed recipes of the day.

Once we've finished our baking, we'll sit together in our lovely dining room to enjoy a true Danish Breakfast with all your freshly baked goodies and tasty toppings served with juice, tea, coffee and snaps. You'll dine and hygge like a true Dane!

We'll be making a range of different Danish specialties, which may include:

• Sourdough buns and bread
• Kanelsnurrer (Cinnamon swirls)
• Te Boller (Traditional Danish sweet buns)
• Dark Danish Rye Bread

Class includes

Schedule

Approx. timing - start time may vary

• 9:00 AM: Welcome tea/coffee, introduction to the program, and recipes of the day
• 9:10 AM - 12:00 PM: Cooking class: creating the different doughs, instructions on mixing, rolling, proving, shaping and baking.
• 12:00 PM: Once all of our goodies are baked you can enjoy them in the dining room with toppings and refreshments
• 12:30 PM: End of the class

This class lasts for approx. 3.5 hours.
