What to Expect

A unique experience in the heart of Ortigia! You discover the culture and the dishes of the Italian and Sicilian culinary tradition, passing between the history of its monuments and visiting a traditional old Sicilian market, where the colours and smells mingle with the voices of the sellers. You will learn to know and choose the ingredients after tasted them and you’ll cook with your hands a delicious Italian menu with Chef Angelo Ingrassia. Moreover, you will have a chance to taste wine and limoncello. This is how you feel Italian culture while travelling to Italy. At the end of the class, you will be gifted with a small ceramic gift and a certification.

Our Menu changes every day depending on what we will find at the market and respect costumer's request.

We will work with Fish, Vegetable, Meat. 

We could provide Vegetarian Class, Gluten-free Class, and any other exception.

Schedule

• 9:00 am: Meet at the meeting point.
• 9:10 am: We begin the day with an authentic espresso
• 9:30 am: The class begins with a visit to Ortigia’s famous market, 
• 11:00 am: Back at the cooking school
• 11:10 am: Chef will introduce all the ingredient once again 
• 11:30 am: You'll be taught how to prepare a very authentic Sicilian lunch
• 1:30 pm: Finally we'll share the meal in a casual and fun atmosphere together with the chef, all this with excellent Italian wines..
• 2:30 pm: End of the class with happiness
