Exploring the secret of Balinese culinary as of its complexity and uniqueness. Cooking class held in a simply amazing villa called Villa Kayu Lama. The host begins with a tour into the nearest local market to learn about local produce and find the fresh ingredients for your meals.

Continue your journey back to the humble villa for preparing the dishes and learning to cook the traditional Balinese dishes in Balinese ambiance.  

Menu

* Balinese Long Bean Kalasan Sauce (shredded chicken, long bean, bean sprout, red bean kalasan sauce)

* Gerang Asem Ayam (boiled chicken wing with bumbu Bali, slice Siamese pumpkin)

* Fish Satay (minched fish fillet, mix with bumbu Bali, grated coconut and palm sugar)

* Pisang Rai (boiled wrapped banana with Balinese dough served with coconut and palm sugar)  

Schedule

The local market is only open in the morning, therefore, both class has morning market trip.

MORNING CLASS

7:00 am: Local market tour

9:00 am: Introduction and coffee and tea are served

10:00 am: Cooking session 1 and tasting

11:00 am: Cooking session 2 and tasting 

1:00 pm: Dessert session and time to enjoy your dish

AFTERNOON CLASS

07:00 am: Local market tour

4:00 pm: Introduction and coffee and tea is served

5:00 pm: Cooking session 1 and tasting

6:00 pm: Cooking session 2 and tasting

7:00 pm: Dessert session and time to enjoy your dish
