What to Expect

Would you like to join us to shop in an authentic neighborhood, cook in our Turkish Home, share your selfcooked meal and chat about Turkish Culture with passionate Cooks and Professional Tour Guides? 

Our kitchen is only one subway (metro) station metro away from Taksim Square in the neighborhood of Kurtuluş (formerly known as Tatavla) which is one of the few that have preserved their original socio-ethnic composition since the 17th century Ottoman period and where Muslims, Jews, Armenians and other Christians are still living together in peace. Participants of our cooking class shop their way through with our team in a very special neighborhood in İstanbul, still inhabited by minorities, not yet touched by gentrification. Smelling, touching, tasting the ingredients of Turkish Cuisine they get to know the backbone of the eatery of this country.

We give travellers the opportunity to get in touch with authentic Turkish food with a hands-on experience in a friendly environment and a homely, cozy atmosphere.

While they are preparing and cooking the food they move through time and space of all lights shades of Turkish customs, traditions, perception of life by guided professional trip leaders and passionate cooks.
