An innate cook, Marietta decided it was time to share holding secrets from family tradition according to those old rules, making something special happening with the only help of very simple and common ingredients.
The aim is to show guests the way local women cook in their everyday lives: the choice of ingredients, the tools, the atmosphere.
Marietta will be glad to welcome you in her cozy and lovely house, where you will feel like at a dinner with friends.
You won’t find a “chef cuisine”, but the warm and comfortable pleasure of a meal prepared by mamma and with mamma! After a welcoming drink with a nice glass of Prosecco and appetizer, we will prepare 3 different kinds of hand-made pasta: trenette, ravioli and lasagna!
Each pasta will be combined with a sauce of Italian tradition: pesto sauce, which you will make on the spot using the traditional marble mortar and pestle; butter and sage ravioli with herbs picked on the spot in the garden and “Lasagna alla Bolognese”, a sauce you will learn to prepare with Marietta’s help.
You will then be rewarded for your hard work with a dinner where you will eat what you cooked and which will be accompanied by the flavor of local wines and olive oil.
The meal will end with a traditional dessert that Marietta will offer you, definitely home-made from Neapolitan tradition.
