Enjoy our half-day cooking class and cook 4 dishes of your choice with a 30-minute educational tour at Koh Samui local market to learn the beauty of Thai herbs, spices and vegetables. We will buy everything fresh at the market for the class.
Finally, enjoy a delectable Thai lunch or dinner that you've learned how to make yourself. A wonderful way to meet others and sharing around the table!

You will choose 4 dishes before the market tour:
Soup
- Tom Yum Soup (the favorite hot and sour soup)
- Tom Kha Soup (Coconut soup with galangal, lemongrass..)
Salad
- Chicken Salad (with fresh mint, shallots...)
- Beef Salad (with pineapple, fresh mint, shallots...)
- Papaya Salad (the famous one!)
- Green Mango Salad (with crispy little fish and chili)
- Seafood salad (prawn, squid, tomato, shallots, chilies...)
Stir-Fried Noodles
- Pad Thai (the famous one!)
- Pad See Ew (large rice noodle with many vegetables)
Curry
- Red or Green curry paste
- Green Curry (creamy in a plate or in a bowl... you choose!)
- Massaman Curry (not spicy! .. with potatoes, peanuts, and chicken)
- Red curry (the spiciest one! ... with kaffir lime leaves)
- Panang Curry (with basil leaves and kaffir lime leaves...)
- Yellow Curry (with onions, baby corn, egg...)
Stir-Fried
- Fried Chicken Cashew Nuts
- Fried ginger with pork or chicken
- Garlic and pepper (with fried chicken or pork)
- Sweet and Sour (with pineapple, tomatoes...)
- Pad Kaphao (Fried basil leaves and chili's...)
- Steam Fish (with ginger, chilies, lime..)

What I liked: The lesson is taught very systematically and help is provided throughout the lesson.
What to know: Lesson is well structured; market tour followed by cooking class. Everyone gets to cook individually with their own stove in an outdoor setup.
Good for: Learning the cultural mannerisms and interacting with locals.
How to get there: Pickup and drop off is provided by the cooking class.
