Balinese Cooking Experience and Market Tour with Lunch

Great cuisine is not always made in obvious places. We will proudly share our unique skills and secret recipes. Under the guidance of our Balinese Gourmet Chef, you will learn how to prepare local, delicious food. 

You will start this experience by shopping in Ubud's traditional market for approximately one hour. Here, you will find Balinese spices and vegetables displayed and sold in the traditional way. 

The traditional cooking class will take about one and a half-hour. Our chef will share his secret dishes and traditional techniques. After cooking, we will have a memorable luncheon together. 

As a gift from us, you will get to take home our secret recipes and impress your family and friends with your new Balinese cooking skills!

Menu

• Balinese chicken salad (Fresh salad with Balinese authentic flavor combined with shredded chicken and raw Balinese sauce)
• Seafood soup (Clear yellow soup from original Balinese spices mix with seafood)
• Pork satay (Balinese signature satay, minced pork mix with Balinese spices and grater coconut twisted on lemongrass stick) 
• Pepes Ikan (Traditional method cooking process, fillet snapper mixed with authentic Balinese spices and sliced tomato wrapped with Tumeric leaves and banana leaves)
• Kolak Ubi dan Pisang (Boiled Banana and sweet potato mixed with Balinese palm sugar, cornstarch, and coconut cream)

Jadwalkan

• 7:00 am: Pick up at your hotel in Ubud
• 7:15 am: Local market tour
• 8:15 am: Arrive at our Balinese kitchen, introduction and coffee or tea is served
• 9:30 am: Cooking session and tasting time
• 12:00 pm: Time to enjoy your dish
• 1:00 pm: End of the cooking experience and ready to go back to Ubud
