Cooking Class in Cam Thanh Coconut Forest with Market Tour

We begin the day at the Hoi An local food market. Witness how we bargain with local vendors to buy fresh ingredients for your upcoming cooking class (and we'll even teach you some Vietnamese words so you can try yourself!). Discover our unique food culture and immerse yourself into the local lifestyle.

Next, we'll head to the Cam Thanh coconut village and explore the coconut water palm forest. You'll enjoy a first-hand experience of the famous basket boat dance and help fishermen catch crabs and fish using traditional fishing methods. Afterwards, we'll take a small break in the coconut village forest – and then your cooking class will begin! 

My brother is a professional chef with many years of experience. He'll demonstrate the steps to cook authentic Vietnamese favorites that are only offered locally. Each of you will cook your own dishes in this hands-on culinary experience, before sitting down together to savor your delicious creations.

Morning Class

• 8:00 am: Pick up from your hotel.
• 8:20 am: Visit the local market to learn about local ingredients.
• 8:50 am: Arrive at our home in Cam Thanh village and enjoy a welcome drink.
• 9:00 am: Take a bamboo basket boat to explore the village.
• 9:30 am: Start our cooking class.
• 10:45 am: Enjoy what you have cooked with some dessert.
• 12:00 pm: End of cooking class and get ready to return back to hotel.

Afternoon Class

• 1:30 pm: Pick up from your hotel.
• 1:50 pm: Visit the local market to learn about local ingredients.
• 2:20 pm: Arrive at our home in Cam Thanh village and enjoy a welcome drink.
• 2:30 pm: Take a bamboo basket boat to explore the village.
• 3:00 pm: Start our cooking class.
• 4:15 pm: Enjoy what you have cooked with some dessert.
• 5:50 pm: End of cooking class and get ready to return back to hotel.
