参加者によると、この体験は活気あふれる花市場を巡るガイド付きウォーキングツアーから始まり、公共交通機関でのアクセスも容易で、新鮮な地元食材が豊富に揃っているとのことです。インストラクターは分かりやすくフレンドリーな指導で、パッタイ、ソムタム、レッドカレーといった本格的なタイ料理を初心者でも気軽に楽しめるように工夫しています。参加者は実際に料理を体験することで、タイの食文化への理解を深め、自宅でも自信を持って料理を再現できるようになります。
Food and Arts by Alyssa creates an pop up Thai cooking experience-not full cooking class- and dinner inside the oldest flower market, Pak Klong Talad. Three course dinner at Thai chef table on 3 days a week with an intimate group of 2-8 participants. You will learn how to cook the chef menus based Thai recipes: appetizer/soup/salad, main course,and dessert.
The 3 course menus will be demonstrated by the chef and jointly cooked by the participants if is requested during the experience. The chef table will be set up on the mezzanine above the flower market. After dinner, you can enjoy walking and nightly see the beautiful scene of river walk alongside of the main Chao Pra Ya river or have a drink at the Thai craft beer at BahnBahnBrew at the next door of Matchanu hostel.
These 3-course menus will be subjected to the theme that each local chef will cook for you. The recipes for the month of June are:

Ice and hot, floral tea and surprise coktail will be served with the dinner and while cooking. This dining and cooking experience is scheduled 3 days a week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you like to book on other days, besides Saturday and Sunday, please contact us in advance. Thank you.
If you come by Taxi and get off at Pak Klong Talad, AKA, Yod Pi Man Flower Market, on the sign,ตลาดดอกไม้ยอดพิมาน(ปากคลองตลาดเก่า) Please walk inside the market till you see the mezzanine then go up to The Market Experience office; if you come by riverboat taxi, please get off pier 6/1, Pak Klong Talad AKA Yodpiman flower market , and walk straight inside the fresh market and find the stairs on the left to walk up . We also can pick you up if you need if you can find the office then wait at Star Buck's coffee at the riverside.
