Cooking Experience for Portuguese Cuisine and Wines

In this experience, you'll get the chance to learn about Portuguese cuisine and wines with our chef and sommelier, tailor-made to you. 

Our premium cooking classes are hands-on and very involved. We will guide you on how to choose and prepare the ingredients into delicious meals, and how to choose the right wines and finger food. 

We will also talk about Aromatics (perfumes) and Portuguese pastries in a short workshop and team-building experience.

Appetizers:

• Codfish fritters
• Roasted chorizo with cornbread
• Olives.

Main dishes:

• Codfish with cornbread
• Portuguese-style sea bass
• Roast pork with saffron-baked rice.

Dessert:

• Custard tarts

Cronograma

• 10:30 am: Arrival and distribution of the program details on paper and flash drive for easier reference.
• 11:00 am: Presentation of the raw materials and how to choose them at the market. Start the conversation about the history of the dishes and their preparation, giving tips for success.
• 12:30 pm: Examples of appetizers: codfish fritters, roasted chorizo with cornbread, and olives. Presentation of the selected wines and their characteristics.
• 1:00 pm: Lunch tasting.
• 2:30 pm: End of the program.
• Late afternoon (dinner), same program starting at 7:30 pm and ending at 11:30 pm/midnight.
