The Baan Thai Cooking School is located in the heart of Chiang Mai, just a few blocks from Thapae Gate (see map.) In Thai, Baan Thai means Thai Home, which is the atmosphere you will experience during your time with us. We view Baan Thai as more than just a school, but rather as an extension of our home, and an opportunity to share Thai cooking and culture with you. At Baan Thai we want you to get the most out of your stay in Chiang Mai.

Our staff emphasizes a friendly teaching style centered on actually doing, rather than watching. We guarantee that by the time you complete our course you will not only have learned a thing or two about Thai cooking but will also have had a most memorable experience.

2) Soup

• Hot and Sour Prawn Soup
• Chicken in Coconut soup
• Seafood in Coconut milk

3) Appetizer

• Papaya Salad 
• Spring rolls
• Fried Fish cakes/ Corn cakes

4) Curry paste 

• Red curry paste
• Green curry paste
• Panaeng curry paste

5) Curry

• Chiangmai Noodle with Chicken (Khao Soi)
• Green Curry with Chicken
• Panaeng Curry with Pork 

6) Dessert

• Deep fried Banana
• Mango with sticky rice
• Water Chestnut in Coconut milk
