5 Dishes Class: Half-Day Chengdu Courtyard Cooking Class with Local Spice Market Visit

During this 4-5 hours unique cooking workshop, you’ll be taken into an authentic local spice market to explore it with fun challenges to complete and learn different species of Sichuan spices and ingredients that will be used in the following cooking class. 

The class will be carried out in a traditional Sichuan style courtyard. You’ll be treated with Sichuan local tea as it’s local’s custom to treat friends and visitors. After that, you then will be guided to start the cooking process by a professional chef in a cozy kitchen. 

Finally, you can enjoy the dishes made by yourself along with some beers or beverages. For it’s really informative, interesting and fun, this class will be an unforgettable experience in your lifetime. 

*Family welcome, children under 5 is free for the class.

時間表

Afternoon Class:

• 1:30 pm: Meet your guide at your hotel: The school will contact you for more pickup information
• 2:00 pm: Local Spice Market Visit: Your guide will take you to explore an authentic local market, you’ll learn and obtain some necessary ingredients or spices that will be used in the cooking class afterwards.
• 3:00 pm: Ramble through back streets to the cooking class place, a hidden gem-a traditional Sichuan style courtyard.
• 3:10 pm: Tea Break: Have a break with Sichuan Gaiwan tea.
• 3:30 pm: The Cooking Process: The cooking process will be guided by a professional chef.
• 4:30 pm: The Dinner Time: Enjoy the dishes that cooked by yourself with some beers or beverages.
