Half-day Gourmet Trip with Hoa Túc Cooking Class

This trip is specially designed for those who would like to experience the Vietnamese culture and the authentic & contemporary taste of Vietnamese food. Join us for a Gourmet Trip, you will experience the Vietnam local market to purchase your ingredients, then enjoy a hands-on cooking class.

Local Market visit (8:00 am- 8:40 am)

Explore the colorful and vibrant market with our Vietnamese Chef to purchase the necessary ingredients for the cooking lesson. Then, our Chef will bring you back by taxi to the class venue.

Hands-on cooking class (9:00 am-12:00 pm)

The kitchenware is ready. Participants cook, then enjoy the delicious Vietnamese meal. MSG is prohibited in our recipe. So, don’t worry! The seasonal dessert is our sweet treat to complete the cooking journey. We will also give you all the detailed recipes at the end of the class, it would not only help you to concentrate and enjoy the cooking experience, but you also could re-make the food at home.

We could adapt the menu to vegetarians or people with allergies, please let us know when booking in advance so we can accommodate you.

WEDNESDAY

• Fried spring rolls w/ pork & mushrooms
• Fresh lotus stems salad w/ prawns & pork
• Char-grilled beef wrapped in Betel leaves w/ lemongrass

THURSDAY

• Mustard leaf rolls w/ crunchy vegetables & prawns
• Mango salad w/ dried shrimps
• Fresh rice noodles w/ marinated BBQ pork

FRIDAY

• Shrimp tapioca dumplings wrapped in banana leaves
• Water spinach salad w/ beef
• Prawns fried rice in lotus leaf wrap

SATURDAY

• Sticky rice fritter stuffed w/ pork
• Stir-fried vermicelli Salad w/ calamari
• Caramelized ginger chicken

SUNDAY

• Fern cakes w/ shrimp floss
• Green papaya salad
• Vietnamese crispy pancake

Tuesday to Sunday.

- Meet the chef at 7:50am in the main gate of Tân Định market at 336 Hai Bà Trưng Street, District 1. The chef will wear black chef uniform so you can't miss her. Please don't be late as the group will leave at 7:55am .

9:00 am: Back to cooking class and start cooking

12:00 pm: End of the cooking class
