A day trip out of Rome to discover the City of Wine and the Italian Pizza tradition!
You will catch the train in Rome Termini Station at 09:49 a.m. towards Frascati (this is a 25 minutes ride only!). Only on Saturdays, you will have to take the train from Rome Termini station at 10:14am directed to TOR VERGATA station (the main destination of this train is either Cassino or Frosinone, and you have to get off at Tor Vergata station after 17 minutes ride from Rome Termini station!
Once arrived at the station, a member of our family will welcome you, and you will be transferred to the Minardi Wine Farmhouse in less than 5 minutes!
As soon as you arrive at the farmhouse,
We will meet our Pizza Maestro, and you will enjoy a fun pizza making class in a special place, directly at the farmhouse!
Our local Pizza Master will teach you how to prepare the traditional Roman pizza, including traditional toppings and the secrets to prepare the perfect dough!
After the class will take you on a tour across the old vineyards, which we still take care of with the same old farming techniques the family has been adopting for centuries. Travel into the past of the wine-making, listening to the stories and experiences of a passionate family of this historic land.
We will then lead you to visit the old wine cellar of the historic winery, where we will introduce you to the secrets and the historic wine-making processes of the famous Frascati wine. The Minardi Historic Farmhouse is now a sort of "Frascati Wine Museum" surrounded by ancient vineyards and olive groves.
Time to taste the famous Frascati Wine! We will guide you through a tasting of the three wines of the family production, the famous Frascati Superiore DOCG white wine, the Vagnolo IGT red wine, as well as the Frascati DOC White Wine. All of the wines will be paired with food matching also including
the Minardi Family’s own Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
You will finally enjoy the lunch consisting of several appetizers prepared by the chef (local cheeses, selected cold Meats, seasonal vegetables)plus the Pizzas that you will roll down and top directly! Frascati Wine, water, ..and a tasting of gourmet wine ice-cream!
The farmhouse also likes the final musical surprise!
At the end of the experience, we will accompany you in Frascati, where you will be able to take the train back to Rome (there is one train every hour).

Saturday Class:
- 10:14 am: Catch the train in Rome Termini Station towards Tor Vergata Station
- 10:31 am: Arrive at Tor Vergata railway station where you'll meet a member of the family to pick you up
- 10:50 am: Arrive at farmhouse where you'll learn how to make a delicious Pizza
- 11:00 am: We'll take you to Minardi Historic farmhouse for your wine tour, Tasting, and Pizza making class at the farmhouse with our good pizza master; Nice Pizza and antipasti dinner after the class!
- 2:00 pm: After the tour, we will drive you back to Frascati town
- 2:36 or 3:36 pm: Take a train back to Roma Termini from Frascati, there are also other trains if you will like to stay more time in Frascati!

Lieu de rendez-vous
- Tuesdays & Thursdays: You will catch the train at 09:49 am from Rome Termini station to Frascati station. The train ride is only 22 minutes and costs 2.20€. We suggest you arrive around 30 minutes earlier at the station to take the train tickets either in advance online (www.trenitalia.com) or at the newspaper kiosks or tobacco shops inside the station!
Once arrived at Frascati railway station at 10:20 am on weekdays or 9:20 am on Saturday, please exit from the main door and you will see a member of the Minardi Family welcome you by the yellow Taxi Stand in front of you.
- Saturdays: You will catch the train at 10:14 am from Rome Termini station to Tor Vergata station. The train ride is only 17 minutes and costs 1.50€.
Once arrived in Tor Vergata station, please exit from the opposite entrance by walking on the transparent tunnel above the train platforms and you will see a member of the Minardi Family welcome you outside the entrance of Tor Vergata station, waiting for you to start the experience!
