"Thung Chai" is the local name of basket boat. It originates from Vietnam and considered very valuable for the owners because it made of bamboo. This kind of boat used by fisherman in central Vietnam especially for the fisherman who works in the ocean or river because of its convenient. However, in present-day, there is a lot of Basket boat in livelihood because of it's unique and known by many tourists. 

In this special tour, the Hoi An Village Experience would like to bring the valued guests to a peaceful, quiet and picturesque fishing village named Cam Thanh which far from Hoi An ancient town for 5 kilometers. You will meet lots of local warm-hearted people who love to show and teach you how to use the unique Basket boat with their whole heart and enjoy an unforgettable meal of your lifetime. This is a fun and interesting way to experience rural life in Hoi An and Vietnamese cuisine. 

You will be immersed in the natural beauty of the nipa palm forest and enjoy crabs fishing. This is so cool! you have a chance to contemplate the river beauty in the countryside of Viet Nam, the traditional way of catching fish as well as the lives of the hospitable fishermen here. Lastly, the chefs will teach you how to cook Vietnamese food and share valuable information in Vietnamese cultural cuisine. Then you will enjoy Vietnamese food made by yourself. Recipes from the class will be made available to you so you can recreate them at home.

時間表

Morning section 

• 8:30 am: Pick up by local tour guides at the hotel.
• 9:00 am: You will be taken to the Hoi An Market. 
• 10:00 am: Time for the bamboo basket boat on the canals of the Bay Mau Nipa forest. 
• 10:30 am: After such eco-tour activities, you will be welcomed to the cooking classes with our chefs within 2 hours.
• 12:30 pm: This is the time to have lunch with the food that you made. 
• 1:00 pm: Finally, the end of the trip and back to the hotel. 

Afternoon section 

• 2:00 pm: Pick up by local tour guides at the hotel.
• 2:30 pm: You will be taken to the Hoi An Market.
• 3:30 pm: Time for the bamboo basket boat on the canals of the Bay Mau Nipa forest.
• 4:00 pm: After such eco-tour activities, you will be welcomed to the cooking classes with our chefs within 2 hours.
• 6:00 pm: This is the time to have dinner with the food that you made.
• 6:30 pm: Finally, the end of the trip and back to the hotel.
