Chinese Steamed Buns (Baozi) Cooking Class with Market Tour

Bao Zi is a famous Chinese type of filled bun, the delicious juicy filling will amaze you. Take this hands-on class and make Chinese dough from scratch and you will also be able to learn about Chinese cooking and seasoning techniques.

During this 4-hour Bao Zi making workshop, you'll be taken into an authentic local spice market to buy Chinese spices and ingredients that will be used in the following cooking class. The class will be carried out in a traditional Sichuan style courtyard. You’ll be treated with local tea as it is a local custom to treat friends and visitors.

After that, you then will be guided to start the cooking process by a professional chef in a cozy kitchen. Finally, you can enjoy the Bao Zi, a kind of famous traditional steamed bun with filling, made by yourself along with some beers or beverages. We promise you that this food tour and cooking class is really informative, interesting and fun, it will be an unforgettable experience in your lifetime.

This trip also includes: a small souvenir for you to remember us by and a recipe booklet so you can recreate the dish at home.

• 8:30 am: Local Spice Market Visit: Explore and learn some necessary ingredients or spices that will be used afterward
• 9:30 am: Ramble through backstreets to the cooking class place, a hidden gem traditional Chinses style courtyard
• 10:10 am: Tea Break: Have a break with a local Gaiwan tea.
• 10:30 am: The cooking process guided by a professional chef
• 11:30 am: The lunch time: Enjoy the dishes that cooked by yourself with some beers or beverages
• 12:00 pm: Finish off the day with a full tummy and happy faces

Afternoon Class

• 1:30 pm: Meet your guide at the meeting point
